Rooted in Grace Homeschool Alliance is a Christian homeschool co-op created to bring homeschooling families together for meaningful learning, lasting friendships, and a supportive community.
We believe homeschooling is a beautiful opportunity to learn and grow as a family; but it doesn't have to be done alone.
At Rooted in Grace, families come together to encourage one another, share their gifts, give children opportunities to learn alongside friends, and create the kind of community that makes the homeschool journey even richer.
Who We Are
Rooted in Grace is a family-centered, parent-led Christian homeschool community.
Our co-op is built around the idea that every family has something valuable to contribute. Parents aren't simply dropping their children off for classes—we participate together, teach together, serve together, and help create the experiences our children enjoy.
Throughout the school year, our families gather for Tuesday co-op classes, field trips, special events, celebrations, and other opportunities to learn and build relationships.
Our goal isn't to recreate a traditional school.
It's to create a community where homeschool families can learn together while still preserving the flexibility and family involvement that make homeschooling special.
Tuesday Co-op Classes
Our regular co-op classes meet on Tuesdays during the school year.
Students are grouped primarily by age so they can learn and build friendships with peers in a developmentally appropriate setting.
Our 2026–2027 groups include:
- Nursery — Babies up to age 2
- Toddler — Ages 2–4
- Juniors — Ages 5–6
- Trail — Ages 7–10
- Summit — Ages 11+
Rather than teaching the same subject every week, our Tuesday program offers a rotating variety of learning experiences.
Throughout the month, students may participate in:
Character Development • Nature Science • Art & Creativity • STEM • Physical Education & Movement
This gives our students opportunities to explore, create, move, experiment, work together, and learn from different parents within our community.
Parent-Led, Community Powered
One of the things that makes Rooted in Grace special is that our parents bring their own talents, interests, experiences, and creativity into the co-op.
Parents may lead lessons, assist with classes, organize activities, chaperone field trips, help with events, or serve our community in other ways.
Suggested curriculum and resources are available for our parent teachers, while still allowing room for parents to bring their own ideas and teaching styles into the classroom.
When everyone contributes a little, our children gain a lot.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Some of the best learning happens outside four walls.
Field trips and hands-on experiences are an important part of our community. Throughout the year, we plan opportunities that allow students to explore history, science, nature, agriculture, our local community, and more.
We also gather for special events and celebrations that give both children and parents more opportunities to connect.
These experiences aren't just about academics. They're about giving our kids the chance to experience the world together and build friendships along the way.
A Community for the Whole Family
Rooted in Grace isn't only for the kids.
Homeschool parents need community, too.
We want to create a place where parents can find encouragement, share resources and ideas, build friendships, and have other families beside them through the different seasons of homeschooling.
You'll often find parents talking while the kids play, helping one another through homeschool challenges, planning the next adventure, or simply enjoying being around people who understand this way of life.
That's an important part of what we're building.
Rooted in Faith
Our Christian faith is at the heart of Rooted in Grace.
We desire to create an environment where families can grow in faith, encourage one another, serve together, and point our children toward Christ through both our words and our actions.
We recognize that Christian homeschool families may come from different church backgrounds and traditions. Our desire is to focus on the faith we share while treating one another with grace, kindness, and respect.
Creating a Safe Community
The safety of our children is a priority.
Adults who attend Tuesday classes, field trips, or other Rooted in Grace co-op events are required to complete our approved background-check process.
We also use attendance and check-in procedures to help our leadership know who is participating in co-op activities and events.
These practices help us create a community where families can learn, serve, and spend time together with greater confidence and accountability.
